Originally from Belize City, Central America, John moved to Los Angeles, California, in 1990, where his passion for music quickly evolved into a thriving career. Just one year later, he and a close group of friends launched Explosion Crew, beginning with cassette tapes before advancing through Gemini turntables, Technics 1200s, and today's industry-leading Pioneer and Serato systems. What started as a passion soon became a profession built on excellence, versatility, and a genuine love for bringing joy to others.

Over the years, DJ Viper and his team have entertained audiences at more than 1,000 events, including weddings, birthday celebrations, baby showers, corporate functions, school events, concerts, private parties, and nightclubs throughout Los Angeles, Hollywood, and Las Vegas. His reputation was built not only on exceptional mixing and sound quality but also on professionalism, reliability, and an ability to read every audience.

In 2006, John relocated to New York, where he chose to dedicate several years to raising his family. Although he stepped away from the music scene for nearly a decade, his passion never faded. The rhythm, energy, and excitement of creating memorable experiences eventually called him back.

Today, DJ Viper has returned stronger than ever, reconnecting with DJ Bantan and an international network of talented selectors and DJs through Godfather Sounds.
