  • Life Building Skills – this program focuses on educating students in building life skills that will empower them to become self-sufficient and able to compete in the job market while becoming productive citizens.

  • Computer Literacy – this program provides the next generation with basic computer operations, and computer literacy and uses key factors of computer programming and applications to advance them to the next level of excellence within the 21st-century technology wave.

  • Vocational Training – this program provides hands-on training and work experience that will create a path toward a brighter future for our youths in the areas:

MEET OUR E.D.

Executive Director of The Excel Project, Apostle Dr. Faith A. Walters a resident of Mount Vernon, New York, is the founder of The Excel Project, which is a project under the Non-Profit Organization, Women & Men of Excellence Outreach Ministries.

Dr. Faith A. Walters

Apostle Dr. Faith Walters, Th.D. is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Women & Men of Excellence Outreach Ministries of Mount Vernon, New York. In June 2014, she officially launched The Excel Project Vocational Training Center.

Dr. Walters holds an Associate of Science degree in General Business Administration from Mercy College and a Bachelor's and Master’s Degree in Education from The City College of New York. In May 2018, she received her third Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family/Sex Therapy from Nyack College. At the same time, she received a Chaplaincy Diploma from CICA International Ministries and became a Democratic District Leader. In March 2019, she retired as a Special Education Teacher with over 20 years of experience from the NYC Department of Education.
