At The Excel Project Reading Success Academy, we believe:

School-Year Reading Continuation Program
The School-Year Reading Continuation Program is designed exclusively for students who successfully complete the Summer Reading Academy.
Students will continue building upon the reading skills developed during the summer through weekly instruction and ongoing progress monitoring.
Program Dates: September – May 25
Day: Tuesdays only
Time: 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Monthly Tuition: $120 per month

Parents may choose whether or not their child may be photographed or videotaped while participating in The Excel Project Reading Success Academy.
Photos and videos may be used for educational, promotional, and marketing purposes, including the academy’s website and official social media platforms, only with parent/guardian permission.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this an online program?
No. Instruction is currently offered in person.
Is this a religious reading program?
No. The Excel Project Reading Success Academy is a secular educational reading program and is separate from the ministry programs of Women & Men of Excellence Outreach Ministries (WAMOE).
What curriculum is utilized?
The academy uses Hooked on Phonics, teacher-developed instructional materials, leveled readers, and age-appropriate children’s literature.
Will homework be assigned?
Yes. Homework may be assigned to reinforce classroom instruction.
Will parents receive progress updates?
Yes. Parents will receive ongoing communication regarding their child’s progress throughout the program.
